An innovative learning center in the field of employment of people with disabilities

Call Yachol offers a rich and interesting range of unique courses in the field of employment of people with disabilities based on 12 years of practical experience locating, screening, recruiting and managing people with disabilities!

  • Call Yachol operates a unique research-based model – “links”- that enables people with a wide range of disabilities to achieve normal work-productivity, for normal wages in the free market.
  • During the company’s active years, over 1,000 employees with a vast variety of disabilities have worked at Call Yachol and achieved normal productivity. The company operates in the industry of call centers and logistics and currently employs 230 people, most of which are severely disabled (70%).
  • The company and its model are well recognized in Israel and the world in academia, social organizations and by rehabilitation professionals.
  • More than 70 international representatives from all over the world came to Israel in order to experience and observe the unique ‘Links’ model and operations.
  • Call Yachol’s Employer Academy was officially launched in September 2019 with the purpose of transferring the knowledge and experience accumulated regarding the employment of people with disabilities to the rest of the world – mainly the relevant people and departments in large organizations (HR, recruitment, direct managers and social-responsibility managers).
  • The Employer Academy offers a unique package for employers: alongside a theoretical understanding of the model, the academy offers active learning exercises with the participation of Call Yachol employees, who are a significant part of the courses and training programs. These exercises enable the participants to experience and practice various interactions with people with a wide range of disabilities. The staff of Call Yachol takes part in the courses and training, subsequently transferring Call Yachol’s Employer Academy into the only learning center in Israel where it is possible to learn from people who actually manage people with disabilities on a daily basis in the free market (In other venues, training is conducted by rehabilitation professionals who never actively managed people with disabilities themselves).
  • In Israel, companies with over 100 employees, have an obligation to staff 3% of their employees with people with disabilities, while in the public sector the obligation is 5%.
    In practice, many business and public sector companies and organizations find it difficult to meet the demands of the law.
    The following courses and training programs are offered in order to cater to organization’s various motivations to successfully employ people with disabilities.

Some of the organizations that have participated in our unique training include: The Prime Minister’s office, Nespresso, Moked Emun Group, Shufersal, Elementary and high Schools, Israel Police force, The Arison Foundation, Tel Aviv Luna-Park, Superland, the Housing and Construction Authority and many others.
Thousands of employees who took part in Call Yachol’s training courses, report ending their visit not only excited and full of energy, but with a deep appreciation for the importance of diversity and integration, and even with a willingness to take a practical part in promoting Call Yachol’s social mission. Many of the participants experience a profound change in perceptions and stigmas, and many even became social ambassadors to the cause, feeling deeply motivated to create change, promote the employment of people with disabilities, and actively take part in changing the world for the better.

The Recruitment and Screening Course

focuses on how to succeed in locating, recruiting and hiring people with disabilities

  • 3 sessions, once a week, 9am to 4pm
  • Topics include: Challenges and opportunities in recruiting people with disabilities, the “Links” model as an organizational strategy for diversity in recruiting, lowering applicant’s anxiety, building ‘accessible’ and relevant screening exercises and choosing the right jobs – reserved parking in employment model
  • Practical experience: Training is conducted with CY’s (disabled) employees
  • Powerful experience! During the course participants meet CY’s employees that share their past personal stories, experiences, successes and failures

Human Resources Course

Human Resources Course – Focuses on how to succeed in leading and implementing an organizational culture that facilitates the employment of people with disabilities

  • 3 sessions, once a week, 9am to 4pm
  • Topics include: An introduction to the world of disability – types and needs, the “Links” model as an organizational strategy for facilitating the employment of people with disabilities, identifying jobs in the organization that can employ people with disabilities through the reserved parking in employment model, the role of the HR department throughout an employee’s life cycle
  • Practical experience: Exercises are conducted with CY’s employees with various disabilities
  • Powerful experience! During the course participants meet CY’s employees that share their past personal stories, experiences, successes and failures.

Course for front line managers of people with disabilities

Focused on how to manage people with disabilities on a personal and team level.

  • 2 sessions, once a week, 9am to 4pm
  • Practical how-to knowhow regarding onboarding, training and crises management of people with disabilities.
  • Practical experience: Exercises are conducted with CY’s employees with various disabilities
  • Powerful experience! During the course participants meet CY’s employees that share their past personal stories, experiences, successes and failures
